Need help with My Anbiya? Here's how to get in touch, plus answers to a few common questions.
My Anbiya tells twenty-five stories of the prophets, each one illustrated and narrated, with a read-along text option that highlights and scrolls in time with the audio. It's built for younger children, works fully offline, and collects nothing — see the privacy policy for the full detail.
The narration in My Anbiya is currently a synthesised voice, not a human recording. It's a placeholder for this first version of the app, and it will be replaced by a human narrator in a future update. If a word or name is mispronounced, that's the synthesised voice rather than an error in the story itself — let us know if it's distracting and we'll take it into account when the narration is re-recorded.
No — never. Every story, illustration and piece of narration is bundled with the app when you install it, and the app doesn't have permission to make network connections at all. It works exactly the same on a flight or with the phone in airplane mode.
Since all the audio is bundled locally, playback issues are almost always device-side rather than app-side — check the phone isn't on silent/vibrate (some Android devices route media audio through the ringer volume), that media volume itself is turned up, and that no other app is holding the audio focus. If it still doesn't play, get in touch below.
Open Settings from the rail on the left (or bottom, on a phone). Text size and theme (Day/Bedtime/Auto) apply across the whole app; the sleep timer default can be set there too, or changed per-session from the sleep timer control in Listen mode.
Tap the heart on any story to save it to Favourites. Reading and listening progress is remembered automatically per story, so you can pick up where you left off. All of this is stored only on the device — see the privacy policy.
No. My Anbiya has no internet permission at all, so there is nowhere for any data to go. Full detail in the privacy policy.
Found a bug, a mispronunciation, or something that doesn't look right? Email hello@si-tec.uk — a note on which story and roughly where in it helps a lot.
